Love Is Easy Now
Some things keep up with us,
others lag behind.
I cannot cure this hunger for a life
less dismantled
Love is easy now,
when all other things run away:
intellectual fulfillment, friends, contentment.
Only a few years ago I thought
these things would arrive
and love would never come.
